Ingham Disability Support Services, making a positive difference.
Shop3, 72 Herbert Street Ingham, (07) 4776 3755

Our organisation was founded by a group of parents of children with disabilities, who wanted local support services for their children. First established in 1976, these local group of parents would meet regularly to lobby the government for funding to provide supports for people with disabilities in Ingham. Finally successful, this organisation, formerly known as Ingham Parents Support Group, grew from strength to strength, over the years supporting and empowering people with disabilities within the Hinchinbrook area and beyond. Today we support 120 people statewide and employ over 60 staff members.

Our Organisation has grown from a small group of dedicated parents, to a large group of clients, parents, carers, support staff, office staff and Management Committee, all which form Ingham Disability Support Services. We started off with determination, passion and an aim to make a positive difference, 37 years on we continue to do the same thing. We welcome you to watch, join, and support us while our story continues.......
